サービス業（宿泊・飲食・小売等）への就業意識調査
(Employment awareness survey for Tourism industry)

みなさんこんにちは、別府市役所の政策推進課です。
Greetings. We are the Policy Promotion Division with Beppu City Hall.

別府市そしておんせん県おおいたの課題に対し、みなさんにアンケートへの協力を
お願いしたいと思います。
We would like to ask for your cooperation with our survey in regards to the issues which
the City of Beppu and Onsen-ken Oita is facing.

おんせん県おおいたの中心地「別府」ですが、近年の人口減少により人手不足という声が
多くの経営者から聞こえてくるようになりました。
In regards to "Beppu" which is the central location of Onsen-ken Oita,
we hear from several business owners that there is a shortage of workers
due to the recent decrease with the population.

特に顕著なのが、観光を支えるサービス業です。
This is especially prominent in the service sector supporting tourism.

厚生労働省の全国的な調査では、宿泊・飲食業では実に51%の方が、
大学卒業後３年以内に離職しているという統計もあります。
According to a national research performed by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare,
there is a statistic which indicates that a rattling 51% of employees in the restaurant
business and accommodation industry resign within 3 years after graduation from university.

大分県内でも同様の傾向があり、観光分野での人材確保は「別府」や「おんせん県おおいた」にとって
喫緊の課題であるといえます。
This same tendency can be noted within Oita Prefecture which makes staffing
for the tourism sector is a pressing issue for Beppu and Onsen-ken Oita.

そこで今回みなさんにお聞きしたいのは、みなさんが観光関連産業に
どのようなイメージを持っているのか？そして、どのような環境・ワークスタイルであれば、
みなさんのキャリアを考えるにあたり選択の候補となるのか？
Therefore, in this survey we wish to ask you what impression you have
about industries relevant totourism. Also, what your thoughts are regarding
conditions and working styles which would make you consider this sector
as an option to develop you career.

皆さんからの率直なご意見を頂き、集計・分析し今後の政策等に反映させていきたいと
考えていますので、ぜひともご協力をお願いします。
Once we collect your candid opinions, we intend to process and analyze
the data and reflect the findings in our policies. We very much look forward to
your participation and thank you for your cooperation in advance.
